The 26-year-old actress lit up an otherwise staid awards telecast Sunday night, sitting naked on a toilet and eating cake during host Jimmy Kimmel’s opening video skit.
The scene opens with some of the hottest actresses from the small screen - including “Mad Men’s” Christina Hendricks, “New Girl’s” Zooey Deschanel, and “The Office’s” Mindy Kaling - prepping their “I just won” faces in front of the mirror in a ladies room 20 minutes before show time.
Girl, we love you and your fantastic ability to be raw and unguarded. But we think that maybe you kept it a little too real when you decided to go to an event without wearing any bottoms, Lena Dunham.

In the only interesting thing to happen during the 64th annual Primetime Emmy Awards so far (and perhaps the only one to come), Girls‘ Lena Dunham appeared in the opening sketch eating cake… naked… alone on a toilet in a bathroom stall. Is this an allusion to her warts and all portrayal on Girls, or is this something that Dunham just likes to do? We ask because we haven’t got a single one of these jokes so far.
